Sergiev Posad, situated northeast of Moscow, is a key part of Russia's ancient Golden Ring cities. It's renowned for the 14th-century Trinity-Sergius Lavra, the Church of the Ascension of the Lord adorned with blue domes and frescoes. Within the Lavra's Trinity Cathedral lies a revered shrine containing the relics of St. Sergius and intricate silverware. The resonant bells from the blue and white tower echo throughout the area.

Coming back to Moscow. Dinner.

Moscow – Saint-Petersburg.

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the train station. Board the train from Moscow to Saint-Petersburg, approximately a 4.5-hour journey. Upon arrival in Saint-Petersburg, meet an English-speaking guide at the station and transfer to the hotel. Lunch will be served at a restaurant.
